Biiger PSU's in shuttles?

I am building a shuttle for a friend with some sick specs in it. I was just wondering if the stock psu in this shuttle box is going to hold up all these specs without killing performance. Also I was wondering if you can buy a bigger psu for these little boxes. The only ones I saw were 250 watts on newegg. Thanks!

Specs:
Shuttle XPC w/250w psu
ATI 9800 pro
1 gig Corsair XMS
160gig sata hd
wireless g nic
Liteon DVD burner
intel 2.8ghz C

No problem at all. People have done similar on 200 watt models. When you start getting into top of the line cards like the 6800 ultra you are going to have power issues.

Also I believe shuttle uses 1u rackmount power supplies. I know newegg stocks 300 watt models.

i built a soltek the other day. w/ 350w psu. and with the ultimate raedeon ati x9000 pro dvt 256mb ddr vga card. the card itself suprised me; since it was the first card i ever seen which needed a power supply

Shuttle uses their own properity PSU's, so no one else makes them for their cases.

My SFF is very similar to that:

P4 Northwood 3.0Ghz
Radeon 9800 Pro
1GB DC PC3200
Hercules GT 7.1
2x SATA HDD
1x 16x DVD burner
2x 80mm fans

and I have no power issues. I think you'll be fine.

I can't comment on the Antec box since I have never used it, however I am very happy with my Shuttle so far. I've only had it a few weeks but it's been smooth sailing until now.

 So would you suggest getting the new Antec box instead which has a 300w psu?

Edit : Thanks!

MicroATX boards arn't as rampant as their larger ATX bretheran, so be prepared to make sacrifices if you wanna do cases like the Antec.

If your that concerned about power, then stick with regular ATX and get a smaller aluminum ATX case like the Lan Boy or Sonata among many others.

The Antec Aria's are nice and roomy for an m-ATX unit. See my sig below for what you can shove in one of these boxes.I still have room for another disk drive and two free PCI slots. The 300watt PSU on this box is nice and seems to run right within spec according to Speedfan when monitoring the 5v and 12v rails. Overall I've built a total of three Arias (one AMD64, two AMD XP) and they run quite well.

I run 2 7200rpm HDDs, a 2500+ at 3200+, gig of ram, and a 6800GT that is capable of ultra speeds on my sn45g 200 watt PSU. Shuttle puts quality power in their boxes, never had a problem with it.
