usually, the best air cooler will be very close the crappiest water cooling setup in terms of performance, but will usually not exceed it. Water cooling should always yield better results, but we would also like to know what components you have in mind for water cooling. For the price, sometimes it might be better to stick with the BT.
I was a little vague I will soon have I kit from the PC water-cooling shop that I traded for on this forum. It has the C-2 CPU block, Resevoir, dual 80mm radiator, 12v pump, and 3/8" tubing.
I currently have a A 3200 venice clocked at 2400mhz. Temps are hovering around 35c at idle and went as high as 47c when running prime. When I crank up the case fans it drops by 2c but is extreemly noisy in that mode.
Really, I am hitting 40c with my case fans set to low and 37-38c on high. I have my 3200 clocked now at 2400mhz wi th 1.55v. I was hoping I could get it to around 30c with this kit.
