What is the biggest case out there on the market right now? I want the biggest most possible drive bays, and expansion slots for an E-ATX board.

The CoolerMaster Stacker is the biggest thing I can think of as far as cases go that A) you can get your hands on, and B) aren't a rackmount. I think there's a cube case out there somewhere, Xoxide used to have one. They might still have the page for it up but I'm pretty sure it's long gone. You know cases like these go for $200+, right? Come to think of it, I remember seeing a full tower at Directron for like $40, but I don't know how many bays it had.

And Lian-Li makes the 7077A, which might be as big as the Stacker.

mine was about 150 when I got it about 2 years ago. but yeah it seems to be going for about 200 now. oh and the stacker is still smaller than my case

I could have picked you up a good sized case for real cheap. Its the size of a small family refrigerator. Probably a 1980s server. It does have many 5 1/4 drive bays and lots of 120mm fan holes...

If you really need a big ass case to shove in lights and junk, look around for older "tower" server cases. My Compaq Proliant could have had the I/O shield modded to fit an ATX motherboard.

Here is one, try looking on google for Supermicro server cases. I have a Supermicro sc801-a server case, it has about 11 5.25inch bays with 2 3.5 drive bays, I still have about four bays open left for expansion.

I have the Thermaltake Armour....one of the biggest cases around for a good price in my book...some people don't care for Thermaltake's cases but it's like a lot of others, you like them or you don't. They also make and identical case called the Kandalf...only difference is a plate in front of the drive bays which can be removed if you like. Same case just a different front. Has 11 5 1/4" drive bays and plenty of room inside.

Both come in Silver (Brushed Aluminum) or Black.

You're all a bunch of fucking lightweights!

Chenbro Ultra:
8 internal 3.5" (unadvertised, but with Chenbro Net Rack, it'll support an additional 5 3.5" internally)
1 external 3.5"
12 external 5.25"
supports 3 standard size PSUs, or a redundant PSU.

Now that is one big case. I am looking for something like this to sound insulate, water cooled and mod to heck. I thought the Codegen S-201 was huge, this is one is biggger

Yeah....that case is large, but it's a server case so big deal it should be. Plus he didn't specifi Midtower, supertower, etc so I could post one of the server tower cases that's in our office that takes up a foot print of 16ft long x 8ft wide. Now that's a huge case...but it's a huge rackmount server case that supports a ton of blade servers and other equipment as well. Are you wanting to see the largest case for atx/extended atx boards for normal home use or just huge cases period? I bet a lot of people including myself can post some huge pics of server cases etc.

I just want WOPR from WarGames. That would look really tight crammed in my basement right next to the pool table.

Ah, remember the days when you could tell the overall computing power of a machine by how many lights blinked out of sequence of eachother? We all knew NOMAD from Star Trek was weak (only had 5 lit panels), now WOPR, that thing was packed with LEDs everywhere!

Well that Chenbro Ultra is about the same size as my Supermicro SC801-A server case.

I could say the pc mod I have currently going could might as be the biggest case I have worked on.

yeah - that Lian Li v2000 is nice... for a monster of a case... :)

yes i own one and love it. My only complaint is, I cant use any huge heatsink because the bottom motherboard divider tray. And there is NO WAY Im cutting this thing with the dremel!

Anyone know the largest fan able to use without cutting in this case? Im considering a Xp-90.
