Big Unit moves in!

Hmmm... good point. Also, should I let an AMD 1.0ghz tbird run big units?

Just about 8.5 days (204 hours). T birds doing 600 pointers run about 2.9 PpHpGHz on average.

They're back.....

I'm fully loaded with 600 pointers again. Talk about a huge dip in production, at least in the short term. I'm guessing this is why the team's production is also taking a dip.

I haven't had anything but the bigpackets 3xx & 600 pointers on my main system lately and most of them have been the 600 pointers. Then again, I only have two systems running the bigpackets and it takes one of them a week to complete a 600 pointer so I have limited experience with them.

All my systems had pretty much moved over to 300-364 point units (great PpD). It was a process that happened over about 1.5 weeks. Now they are firmly back to pure 600 production.

I get better points per day out of the 364 pointers. That's what I wish the Duron 1 Ghz would grab instead of taking a week to crunch through a 600 pointer.

Same here. I will take about a 200 point per day hit because of the 600 pointers being back.

If your computers are slow enough the 600 pointers never went away :p

Good idea. I should start underclocking.

:D

Seriosuly though the Efficeon(which is my laptop) wasn't set to timeless like i thought I had changed it too and it snagged one a while ago and I will just barely make deadline on it

About to finish a 600 pointer. Highest EMIII has had it at in the last couple days is 1808 PPW. Simply amazing for a 2400+M @ 2.4GHz. Give me some more of these chewy motherlovers!

Still chewing 600s, but the item now on my radar is the Double Gromacs.

In the past, only the P4 rig seemed to get them, and only sporadically. Today, 4 of them running on various boxen, including the lone P4.

Get that sucker up to 2.5 Ghz and that PPW goes up to almost 2000. When I'm running the 364 pointers, it's around 2100 PPW. I really wish I could get a couple hundred more Mhz out of this thing.

Next month I'm looking to upgrade her to a Mobile 2600+, hopefully 2.7. I'll see that 2000ppw.
Hopefully stanford will still be givin 'em out! I'm chewing 'em up!
Bring it!
