Big Typhoon VX - Conroe

So..Here's the dilemma at hand - I have a Conroe 6400 that came with a broken / defective stock heatsink. Basically, two of the pins are able to rotate 360 degrees and do not sit securely. This lead to poor contact, and a idle temperature of 65 Celsius. I've been thinking about getting a new heatsink so I can actually use my desktop safely..Mainly considering the new Big Typhoon model. However, I am not sure if it will fit on my Intel 975X. Ill probably do some measurements and such later..But, is anyone able to confirm whether or not it will be a good choice? I really don't want to purchase this heatsink and find out that there's not enough room..After all, it is a huge heatsink.

If I can't use this option, maybe some other suggestions would be helpful? Thanks.
