Need some help to troubleshoot a problem..

Okay, I switched my build over to a new case (P180 Mod), when I initially switched the system over it worked ok, booted fine, no problems. I noticed a wiring problem (a couple of LED's I had wired were not coming on). So turned the system off, pulled the wire bundle (the led wires were sleeved with the power and reset buttons) re-soldered the LEDS and reinstalled the power and reset switch's.

I tried to start the system and nothing, double checked that the power cable, switches and what not were on, no luck. The green LED on the motherboard was lit so I know the motherboard is getting power. I pulled a switch from the old case, figuring that the switch on the new case was bad, no luck, still would not power on.

Now this is were it gets odd, I figured that somehow I fried my motherboard, so I went to the local PC shop and picked up the identical motherboard. I just finished reinstalling the board and still the exact same problem, motherboard is getting juice, but will not power on, no lights, no fans nothing.

I've checked the PSU, it will kick on if I short the green and black wires. I've used three different switches and nothing.

I need some help here.

AMD X2 +4200
Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe (two of em)
Hyper 580 PSU

something must have gone wrong with the soldering procedure and the power switch does not work. try a different one, see if the system powers up.
