My mx700 mouse is gone :( (not totally yet)

i was going to paint it so we went and got some primor and paint. my friend sprayed primor on it and it ran. so i let it dry then sanded. then painted without primor. now there are scratch lines in it. it looks like crap. now im going to sand the paint off with an electric sander instead of my hand and get it smoothe. now should i put on primor to make it smoother? i dont want the scratch lines in there.

i have a ball mouse now until i finish :(

I would just use sandpaper and my hand (or a sanding block) so I wouldn't sand too far and put flat spots in it.
I'm guessing your using either a belt sander (which I strongly am against in this project) or a "mouse" sander which will probably leave flat spots too. Good luck, I dont see why you should need to re-primer, but I would also recommend using a tack-cloth to get the sand off (or just a paper towel with a little water on it.)

sand down all the primer BY HAND. Its a small piece and you dont want to go to far. The primer ran either because you put to much on or you didnt sand down the original surface at all. Clean up all the rough sanding with about 600grit sandpaper, lay down a very light coat or primer, sand that gently with somewhere around 1200 grit, then finish up with your top coat+clear. Always use a tack cloth between steps, etc etc. Dont throw it out either, I'll gladly take it off your hands.

clear?

clear coat, the paint you use after your top coat. makes it shine and the protects the paint underneath.
