I sent this to the news addy, but didn't see anybody posting it...so here goes:

http://pdxlan.net/website/CPUmag/
"Computer Power User magazine in partnership with PDXLAN is pleased to announce the very first "West Coast Mad Reader MOD Challenge!"

PDXLAN 9 - Feb 16-19 2007, Portland Oregon

That's right CPU magazine is taking the Mad Reader MOD mobile and offering up a chance to win at PDXLAN 9. Now you're probably asking yourself, "What does this mean???" Well it means if your custom mod kicks enough butt it will be planted smack dab on the cover of CPU magazine and featured in a two page article spread inside the April 2007 issue. The prizes don't stop there - CPU Magazine will be giving $1,500 to the winner and PDXLAN will be giving a brand new Intel processor to the winner! More prize details below!

Appearing in person as celebrity guest judges are Chris Trumble; head editor of CPU magazine, and CPU staff writer Joshua Gulick. Cases will be judged on the following criteria; Case Aesthetics, hardware customizations, build concept, and build detail.

So here's your chance! If you want to be featured in the most hardcore hardware magazine on the planet run to the workshop, fire up that Dremel, and get to customizing. Let the countdown begin!"

The winner gets in the Magazine!

I have been to 6 PDXLANs now, and they just get better everytime.

LOL, I don't think they will have a category for that. :)

Looks like you had fun at GFL3.0. Wish I could have gone.

I probably won't enter this, but it's pretty exciting that CPU is coming.
