Big issue with Dell laptop keyboard and mouse

I have a dell inspiron notebook... and the mouse is acting really crazy i tried using an external mouse and that also is acting crazy and moving randomly...basically unusable.. What should I do? I was hoping somebody would help...
 
The inspiron model is 8200...i really hope some1 can help or else i gotta call dell and renew a warantee
 
You got PM. You're in luck too, I own that model and have replaced several parts on it.
 
Does it have a touchpad? Have you disabled it?

Does it have a nub, pencil eraser looking thing? Have you disabled that too?
