i've been using the sound blaster live! 5.1 series.

i just ordered a DFI lanparty ut ultra-d and was thinking about either using the onboard audio or the sound blaster live. I ended up having an extra amount of money from my upgrade..and i was wondering would it be a major difference in sound from the soundblaster live!/onboard to a
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS GAMER Limited Edition?

i'm going to be using the logitech x-530 5.1 system.
 
your dfi lanparty onboard card would crush your soundblaster live, that card was good for the money 3 years ago but now its an obselete being
 
would the logitech x-530 use most of what the ZS offers?

reason i'm asking that is because right now it's between getting the ZS or upgrading my samsung 17" lcd to a viewsonic VP191B 19" lcd.
 
The ZS is way too good for the X-530s, sorry man. Upgrade those first, unless you're hearing popping and static in your sound. X-530s are pretty crappy in the grand scheme of things.

As for SBLive! vs. onboard sound, I suggest trying both and deciding for yourself which you prefer.
