bfg warranty voided?

My card was overheating and had to open it up to reapply thermal paste. During the process of removing the shroud, one of the screws was under a sticker and i peeled a part of the sticker off to unscrew it.

Is my warranty voided? I've sent my info for RMA but i don't want to waste time and money on shipping if my warranty is already voided? Don't know if I should take a gamble and hope they'll replace it for me even if there was evidence of the card being opened.

In my experience BFG will go above and beyond to help you with your problem. There is a forum member here that works for them. He will no doubt reply and assist you.
