I talked to a tech support rep on the phone, i told him my specs and what the card did etc. I told him that i had already tried the card in another system and it did the same thing. So he asked me to send them the card and once they receive the card they would send me the new one. My question is how long did it take for some of you guys to get your rma back? and are these rma cards new or refurbs?

They are good with the RMAs. I sent my GTX to them, my problem was that it wouldn't produce any video after two days, but it overclocked like a champ. 500 on the core (+40Mhz for the delta) and 1390 on the memory.
I went through the RMA process sent it to them (just the card), and about three days later I received a brand new retail packaged 7800GTX. And I know overclocking is a hit and miss, and I missed this time. I cannot get 490(+40Mhz delta) without artifacting, nor can I get anything over 1350 on the memory.
When I spoke the BFG tech on the phone he told me that they usually don't fix cards they just send out new ones.
Good luck with your RMA

I posted my 6800GT OC back to them on the monday. it got to them on the tuesday. I had my spankin new card by the wednesday. I never thought for one minute BFG were that good. but from that example. i dont think i gonna buy another brand card again!

They seem to be good about RMA's. My turnaround was not quite as quick as the guy above, but i'm guessing they send it back the method you send it in. (seems to make sense)

Bingo, the shipping method you send it in, is the shiping method they send it back.

ok i sent out the card friday and my confirmation online says they already received it. I just hope i received my new card this week. :D Thanks for the input guys.

usally the collect big batches and ship them back to asia

I guess the fixed ones are redistributed back to the RMA customers ^_^

I RMA'd my old BFG 6800OC (the plastic fans broke), and they sent a brand new card within a week! Plus, it was fully unlockable to 16,6. They earned a follower that day.

They sent me my new card yesterday and it looks different from the other. This one has an all copper cooler with clear plastic. The other one that i had was aluminium type with the bfg picture and black fan. This card seems to idle in the 53's when the other card used to idle in the 60's

Bottom line:

Bfg worked fast to send me the replacement card, I'm happy i went with them.

I had to RMA a card last week. My fedex tracker said they got it tuesday the 18th at 9:20 a.m. I was wondering do they send an email telling you they recieved the card. When should I expect to hear something? The tech support guy said I would probably get my card or a card back in 7 to 10 days from them getting it. Will I get an email when they ship it with a tracking number? I've been without a video card for 8 days and think I'm going crazy.
BFG 6800 ultra oc if anyone was curious. Thanks for listening. I think that ^ was more of a rant than a question. But the waiting is the worst.

They sent me an email with the confirmation number and everything. I sent my mail usps and bfg sent it back ups. Just keep waiting it will get there.

You can also get BFG to send you an advance replacement if you give them a credit card number. They say they are going to charge $15 to it for shipping but they never charged me.

Thanks. I took less than a week from the time they recieved the card to get my repalcement.
