BFG RMA issue

I sent out my FX5900 and got back two more bad ones(not to mention the hassle and mistakes BFG made in between). Now, I am getting a bit fustrated here as I've been waiting and doing this RMA process for well over three weeks. For this next time I call them about this, are they going to let me speak to someone higher up automatically or do I have to ask and give more excuses to talk to one. It seems a lot of people that are having problems with BFG had to speak to someone higher up to finally get their problems resolved and I am wondering if this is the only way to go.

EDIT: I called them and the tech this time didn't even bother doing an advance RMA for me after the 2nd bad card, the 1st one actually did. He even refused to believe it was the card's problem and kept suggesting it was my mobo at first, even after I tested a geforce 2 in. At the end, he gave me a new RMA number but he acted like it was a favor he was giving me. WTF is up with this? Do I have to wait another 2 weeks to *perhaps* get a working card?

Sorry, but I have a hard time believing that you have gotten 3 bad cards all in a row.. I'm going to have to agree with the tech and say its your system.. BFG doesn't send you refurbished crap when the do RMA's, you get a brand new card. The odds of you getting 3 in a row is ASTRONOMICAL...

I doubt it's the mobo. As long as it's a 4x capable mobo and another card works it should be just fine. If it's not the card I'd be inclined to have a look at the PSU. 5900s draw a hell of a lot more juice than GF2s. Have you checked your PSU voltages w/ a multimeter and tried attaching a different PSU lead to the card?

I even tried the card on this one(dad's) and still the same issue. On top of that, my Allied 450W powered the FX5900 for almost two years before it turned crippled.

Unless BFG changed their policy, they send out both new and refurbished cards at their discretion. At least this is what I was told personally by several tech support representatives. Oh, and for your reference, I was shipped a replacement card (all because of a bad fan...no they wouldn't replace just the fan) and here were the results: (Quoted from a previous thread...http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=936672)

Just one word of advice...when you get your replacement TEST IT.

Run benchmarks to confirm that it is actually the exact same thing...don't assume. The only reason I say this is because I had a similar situation a few weeks ago. I RMA'd a BFG 6600GT PCI-X card, due to a noisy fan, and the one I received as a replacement was a 6600GT.

Sure, the card itself said 6600GT, but after running some benchmarks I discovered the following:

.......................Old .....New
3DMark 2001: 18528..... 17477
3DMark 2003: 8644..... 6651
3DMark 2005: 3784..... 2686

Pipelines:.......... 8 ..... 4
Shaders:........... 3 ..... 3
Core Clock........ 525 ..... 500
Memory Clock... 1050 ..... 1000

Needless to say the replacement was seriously messed up. How that ever passed BFG's quality control is beyond me. So, just cautioning you to double check your replacement card upon receiving it. I don't want you left with an inferior card that BFG claims is equivalent. Good luck!

So, my point is that a bad card can happen, and while two does seem a little unlikely, I wouldn't put it past BFG, especially after the test results above.
