ive narrowed it down to the 6800nu since the gt is out of my price range by about $100, i found a decent price for both the BFG 6800oc and MSI 6800

which one would i be better off getting, the price gap between the 2 is 10$

The BFG is the better one. It has a really good warranty and BFG is usually just a better way to go.

Myself Im a BFG whore so that is where my money will go the stock OC'ed speed and awsome warranty. Plus real live 24/7 tech support from a real english speaking american :)

I have owned two BFG cards now, great warranty, and their techinical support SPEAKS ENGLISH. :)

i guess ill get a bfg, i couldnt find any specs for the msi so i assumed it was the same as e-vga's specs.

You can't go wrong with anything made by BFG... lifetime warranty is just

just before i finally get it is evga any better, i havent owned an nvidia yet so i dont have much knowedge on who makes the best. by the sounds its bfg. but is evga any better

In a word

No

BFG warranty owns and it comes a bit oc out the box. evga usually bundle there cards with games from what i see, not sure if they do that for 6800 nu. its really up to u. i'd go with BFG if the prices are the same.

Theyll have similiar again, just be patient. When the 6800's first started coming out, the MSI cards seemed to have a lot of problems. If you go to their forums you can read all of the complaints and rants. So for my 2c's I can't recommend BFG but I can recommend against MSI..

No probs with my PNY (unlocked).
