started doing some minor tweaking on my card today, i've been away from the vid clocking for quite some time now, the only thing i have been using to test stability so far is folding (the only game i play really is wow, other than the occasional 3dmark vantage run, but folding stresses the shaders pretty good imo. but to the point, i was easily able to reach 648mhz core, 1458mhz on the shaders, and 1242 on the mem. wasn't trying to hard, but thats where it seemed to kinda "peak" at for me, it put a 753pnt unit up to an avg of 8717.54ppd, from what i understand thats pretty good for a single card unless im wrong (which is possible) the temps peak at around 76c (stock cooling) decent case, although when im done with my i7 build i'll redo this one with the gtx 280 in it, its using a q6600 clocked to 3.3ish. do u guys think i could get higher clocks on the card?

those are my peaks for shader and mem too. core goes a bit higher though i can get 702 core.

got shaders to 1488 and all seems well, i'll update after i let it crunch a little longer

For F@H the only thing you need to OC is the shaders if i recall correctly. Nothing else will really affect it much really.
On both of my GTX275's I have the shaders set to 1655 and have ran then at that for about 3 months now without any problems, not sure how high the 280 will go.

Also if your looking for help with your setup to run F@H then you should check out the distributed computing section here, lots of helpfull people there :D.

how do u check to see if your shader clock is stable? is there a relatively simple way to do it?

Well i don't keep them at that setting all the time so i just bumped it till it wouldn't take no more, any further really an it crashes, lol. I only use that setting to fold with.

got mine up to 1518 solid for folding, u can turn it up, but it doesn't actual change until 1558 and it only runs that for a few secs b4 the driver corrupts and shuts down. but 1518 is a substantial boost over 1425, keep em crunchin'

the evga voltage tweaker works on bfg cards? or is it a universal nvidia thing?

Yes, the EVGA Precision utility works on BFG and XFX cards
