So i bought this card last fall,
BFG Tech BFGEGTX2852048OCE-BAT GeForce GTX 285 2GB 512-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Limited Edition BATMAN Video Card
from newegg. i'm looking for a second one to SLI them now but apparently NO ONE carries it anymore. (not even BFGEGTX2852048OCE which should be the identical card without the batman logo and game pack-in)
i can't even find it on ebay.
can anyone point me to where i might be able to pick up another one of these?
or maybe someone can tell me if there are any issues if i get something similar instead of exactly the same? does that even matter? i don't think i can even get another GTX 285.

You can throw in ANY gtx285 from any brand or any clock speeds and it will run fine. If one card runs @ a higher stock speed then the other, the fastest will clock down to run the same as the slower.

CAVEAT: If you throw in a 1GB 285, the entire SLI setup will be limited to the lesser card's memory. 2GB 285s are just not a good value proposition. Might just consider upgrading to a 4xx series card to replace it and sell off your 2gb 285 on ebay. It's probably rare enough to fetch a decent return.
