So it's 5:20am in the morning, I'm on my bed fast asleep, dreaming about something. All of asudden, this low groaing sound (sort of like those gas power air blowers some gardners use) starts. Of course, I think I'm dreaming until I open one eyelid, and awake to find my graphics card fan has lost its mind. So I turn off the computer, take out of card, clean out all the dust (a lot too I might add, did the hsf also), put it back in and tested it. Worked fine, jumped onto bed and than 30 seconds later it started again. Took it out, checked for problems, couldnt find any. Put it back in, worked fine, jumped into bed, would start groaning again! I tried to call BFG "24/7 Live Tech Support" to find (as always) their away message of "Currently having a tech meeting blah blah blah."

Anyone know what exactly the problem is? It stopped for now (I'm afraid to go back to my bed). No cables getting in it, and I can't see the fan hitting anything. Anyone had problems like this?

Replace the fan??

Does a 5200 even need a fan? I didn't think they used much power.
