I am starting to get a random band across the width of rhe monitor that is about 3 inches wide and contains a mass of tiny white dots. The band comes and goes with no pattern. Today I tried to play an old game, Serious Sam ,and it ran fine for about 5 minutes. after that I got a pattern on the screen that looked like something from the Matrix as it ran down the screen. Next the monitor went went black and everthing locked. I rebooted, but the monitor stayed black. I left the system on for about 30 minutes, rebooted again and everything appears to be back to normal. It seems the card might be over heating , but I have had the card for about 3 weeks and played Half Life consistently with no problems. I am using drivers 66.93. I appreciate any ideas.

Thanks
