bfg 6800gt and bf2 overclocking

my bfg 6800gt wont go above 400/1000 in bf2 without gliching up and crashing and even that crashes occasionally.. It works fine at 440/1200 with stress testing using the rthdribl demo. and this is with the default bios. Anyone have any ideas or experiences with this issue.

Hmm, I sold my BFG6800GT b4 I started playing BF2

My EVGA 6800GT (PCI-E) does 430/1100 for hours on end without crashing, but I'm H20 cooled.

Have you tried using Rivatuner to log your temps while playiung? That way you can see if it's a heat thing or possibly a driver issue. Are you using coolbits to OC or something else? What driver version? The new 77.77 from Nvidia have been stable for me.
