BFG 6800 Ultra issues

well guys my BFG 6800 Ultra arrived today and I have it all setup and in my machine. I have run into a couple of issues tho...

1. UT2004 gets terrible screen corruption at 1600x1200 res with a refresh of 75Hz, i get the same at 70Hz. The only refresh that seems ok at 1600x1200 is 60Hz which kills my eyes. Whats the score with this?

2. Far Cry seems choppy, this is at 1280x1024 everything else maxed (@75Hz if that has any bearing). With VSync on.

I am using the 61.77 drivers. Any suggestions guys?

no its not the monitor...its either a driver issue or a game config issue...i dont really get what it could be...

do games detect/know what card you are using? I have switched from a 9800XT to the 6800Ultra and am wondering if thats the issue...

I uninstalled the ATi drivers from the control panel add/remove programs thing and then used Driver Cleaner from safe mode. I then installed the gfx card followed by the 61.77 drivers.

Is there an app or something out there that will pick up on conflicts and stuff?

do the 61.76 drivers support the 6800 Ultra cards?

I have noticed that the 61.77's are not WHQL certified....

does anyone know which drivers are on the CD that comes with the BFG 6800Ultra?

I have noticed some issues with textures not looking right and shadows flashing etc in Far Cry as well now. Are these known issues and if so are there any fixes? I really appreciate any help offered.
