BFG 6800 analog output quality

I recently got a BFG 6800 OC. I like the card but I'm a little disappointed in the quality of the analog output. It is not nearly as sharp and clear as the analog output from my 9600XT or 9800pro (I'm using the same VGA cable for all tests). When I use the DVI output, the 6800's image looks fantastic, so I guess that rules out driver (66.29) issues. It may not be cool to do it, but I want to use the analog out so that I can use my good display (2001FP) on both of the computers on this desk with my vga-only KVM switch. Is this just my card (a substandard DAC?) or is it something which others are noting? Is there any way to improve the output?
 
The DAC's on your card must be working fine. I wonder if BFG is putting different DAC's on some cards than on others? I know that not everyone has substandard analog out - maybe I should try another card or another brand while I can.

I agree, your RAMDAC Must be messed up, RMA or take it back.
