BFG 260 Maxcore 55 mislabeled?

I placed an order for a BFG 260 Maxcore 55 a few days ago and it arrived in mail this week. Here is the link to the product...

When I opened the box today, I noticed two things:

1) My card does not say "Geforce GTX 260 Maxcore 55" in bold on the front/top panel. it just says "Geforce GTX 260". It's missing the Maxcore 55 part.

2) On the outside of the box, it says "Cashier: Please open box and verify contents making sure the UPC barcode matches the one seen here." The serial # barcode matches on the box and on the card. However, a different barcode (one beside the note to cashier) with 8 digits on the box is the same as the one on the card except the last digit. The last digit on the box ends in "1" and the one on the crad ends in "0".

I am wondering if I could have a gotten a non OCed card by mistake? I am not building a system until next weekend so I cant check the clock numbers until then.

Does anyone else here have a Maxcore 55 card which is labeled as regular card n the outside?
 
BFG is pretty much out of the graphics card business now. Maybe they ran out of the other heatsinks. If the clocks are correct, I wouldn't worry about it. It's just a sticker. What does the small barcode next to the PCIe slot connector have on it? The BFG[some letter]GTX260... part number should match what you bought: BFGRGTX260MC896OCDE
 
Well check the clocks, and if they are good your should be fine.
If not then call up BFG
 
you should check on a friend's system before waiting to deal with this issue next weekend when you have your own system
