Alright, just realized that I still have my old BF3 account, but none of the expansions.

I'm not into the Close Quarters expansion, so I'm thinking about the two listed in the poll. Karkand is already a definite. So that's one down.

Armored Kill sounds right up my alley. More vehicular combat, right?

Aftermath I'm unsure of, since I don't know what the new game mode is that comes with it, nor how it plays as an expansion, the map, any new weapons etc.

I'll get both if they're both good enough.

End Game isn't coming out until March, from what I understand, so I've not included that one obviously.

premium goes on sale for cheap now and then. I picked it up a few weeks back for $30 and that lands me everything.

Yeah, I was going to that, but realized I actually still have BF3, thought I lost my account, so I'm asking what people think about which expansions. Which are worth picking up.

I got them all for $20 last week on amazon.

premium is just the expansions. not the full game.

so getting premium would give you all the expansions not another account.

it makes more sense to buy them all in a bundle for the price of 2 expansions or less.

Check your server browser and see which expansions have the most players. In Australia, the servers running the expansions are all but dead, even Aftermath. It might have to do with the fact EA charges us $25 for expansions here and thus making the DLC far less enticing, I don't know.

If you are going to get at least 2 expansion packs you might as well wait for Premium or Premium Service to go on sale since each pack is already $15 each.

Aftermath seems popular. BTK is empty, CQC I filter out. AK isnt popular yet.

It depends on your play style OP. I thought Armored Kill was going to be fun but I hate it. I played the new maps and used the new vehicles for a little while but quickly reverted to previous expansions because of my dislike for it. Aftermath, however, I love! The new maps are really fun and the new game type (Scavenger) is a nice change of pace. In Scavenger, I love how everyone is pretty much "equalized" - that is to say, when you get in a match, you have a good chance to score a nice gun and ammo up and be just as good as the next guy. This is a big contrast to, say, gun master, where if you get in a match late and you are stuck with pistols and the others are already on machine guns... =(

I will say that Aftermath aftershocks are very annoying. They just shake the screen and don't really do anything. I thought they were going to actually be cool - like falling debris, make you lose your stepping, etc. As it stands now they are just pointless rumbling. Oh well, it's been my favorite expansion so far though so I'll forgive the aftershocks... this time.
