I'm building a new rig mainly for gaming, bf3 is mainly my concern as i want to go with a 7950 crossfire setup for 2560x1440 ultra

However, i checked a few reviews and some show no scaling on crossfire whatsoever while others (like guru3d) do

So my question is.. If i grab two 7950s will they scale? And what is the problem behind this issue anyway? And a solution if possible

I dont want to spend that dough and find that the second card is a waste of money..

AMD is working on a fix for Xfire stutter and lost frames. It should be fine in a few months.

Without seeing the reviews in question, I'd have to guess driver/CAP version.

Read every review this site has done with BF3 and multiple GPUs, and you'll know why you want to go Nvidia, until the fixes mentioned above are confirmed, anecdotal evidence and promises be damned.
