After reading through the 7000's thread on BF3 multiplayer, I think it's time we have a thread to discuss what drivers work best for you in Multiplayer.

I'm using crossfired 5850's but I feel that I should be getting more than 65-80% usage.
1920x1080 All settings set to low, mesh set to High. 1xAA.
I'm using 12.2 with cap3. It works, but I know there's a better choice.

The usage % is dependant upon a few things:

What your graphics detail level is
What your AA is set to
Resolution you are using
etc.
 
updated post. I use lowest settings possible, seems to be easier to see people that way.
 
You expect more usage from the lowest possible settings on a CF 5850 setup? :confused:
I'm surprised you can even hit 80% usage for that dual card setup. You should consider overclocking that i5-750 if you're going to put most of the strain on it.

On topic: Currently using the 12.1 preview for my single 5850. No crashes or oddities at all so I assume the driver is doing a decent job
 
How could I get more FPS? I use low settings because it's easier to see people in matches (I play competitively). Objects at range disappear and you can see people, etc.
Would overclocking my 750 help FPS? I really don't understand how scaling works in this instance.

A healthy overclock or a new CPU would show you the most gains in your situation. Seeing as your cards are not working anywhere near their potential, your framerate rests heavily on the CPU now.

I'd suggest grabbing a $25 cooler for your i5 and go for the 3.2ghz+ range. That should give you a nice performance bump.
