BF2 Servers Crashing?

Why are the servers crashing randomly, I noticed its really bad on the weekends, sometimes a server can crash 4 times in an hour or 4 times per week.
 
Yeah it's a 1.3 bug I've heard EA has fixed but won't release the fix 'till next patch. They should just release it server side because this is one of the biggest issues caused by 1.3.
 
Had it twice tonight in the middle of good Sharqi rounds each time. It's my top bug in battlefield 2 now.
 
I havent got any since i did this. Just follow these steps. Steps 6-9 is when you brought EF/AF/SF. Doing this should stop the crashing. It did for me. :D

Step 1. Uninstall
Step 2. Reinstall
Step 3. Patch with 1.3 full from EA downloader
Step 4. Install Euro-Force/Armored Fury/Special Forces
Step 5. Repatch with 1.3
Step 6. See Step 4
Step 7. See Step 5
Step 8. See Step 4
Step 9. See Step 5

How do you expect to stop server crashes by reinstalling your local game client?

thats what i was thinking, this is a server side issue, theres nothing we can do from our side to stop servers from crashing, its a gamespy connection bug

Mid-July.

This server problem is known by EA and they "think" they have a fix for it. We have to wait. :(

Iono worked for me. Havent got a single crash in days. O well im not the one with crashing games.
