BF2 - Helicopters

I consider my self a pretty damn god chopper pilot - definitely above average. I'm using a Saitek Cyborg Evo HOWEVER the one thing I can NEVER seem to do is the whole circling around the base to let a gunner tear it up. I can never hold a steady altitude thus creating a not so perfect circle. I can hover on a dime, and do all "fancy" stuff, but I simply can't coordinate my self to remain a nice distance away from the base, a nice decent altitude and perform almost perfect circles around that base.

Any tips as far as how to acomplish this? What would the throttle/rudder/roll combination be?

I have played games on wake Island were I thought the Chinese had it in the bag. None of our boats were making it to the shore, due to 3 tanks and 2 jeeps gunning everyone down. Blackhawks never made it to shore, due to AA and the attack chopper. Our Jets were getting blown up on the runway.

Then some pair of guys on my team got in the attack chopper and single handedly, destroyed all the tanks and jeeps on the shores, escorted the attacking blackhawk and defended each flag, we ended up pushing them back to the airport in no time. All thanks to a Great Pilot and Gunner combo.

Some of the best game I have ever had involved Air to Air combat with a great enemy chopper. Both of you doing insane loops and turns, just missing trees and each others rockets and guided missiles. SO MUCH FUN!
