Excellent.

I think what would be a better strategdy for getting everybody on at once is picking a set time and date like a week in advance. That way it has some time to circulate. Whenever it's "see you tonight" it never works out. Then start a thread about it like, "[H] BF2 tournament Thursday 2/23 at 9:00est" and include the details in the thread. Then beg a mod to stick it for a couple days. Just a suggestion, but i would love for this to work out.

Sweet. I agree with pigpen though, we should have an official anouncement thread or something.
 
Sounds good guys. Just let me know and I will up the server to 64 if we need it at the time. It's playing Karkand/Mashtuur/Sharqi as a rotation on 32 plyr size w/ 32 plyrs.
 
So what are we going to do about Voice Communication?
I know it was a topic beaten to death in the other fourm but it is an important one.

We have in-game VOIP enabled on our server, however, there's someone who listed a TS server that we could use.
 
I dunno the TS server is a much apreciated offer but IMHO TS kinda sucks and my 50 man Vent Server is here to stay.

I prefer Vent as well, can you post the Vent info in the [H] Server thread so it's all in one place...
 
Wow, I prefer TS to vent. Just a matter of opinion I guess. We do 30 folks regularly on our TS with no issues. Also with the add-in for the G15 keyboard, its rather nice.

Can't wait to game with you fellas.
 
I bought BF2 over the summer but just started getting into it... yeah, it's not CS:S that's for sure :p. I need to find some time to log some hours in the midst of the semester madness.... this will be great. By the way... what's TS?

NG Ventrillo Server, Unless I am on you are only able to go in the public channels. If anyone asks who you are say Fidels friend.
I find TS to have low voice Quality. Anywho I am going to work on getting a [H]ard Vent channel so that you guys wont be bothered when gaming if we choose to use vent, looks like we are split though.
 
One more thing to add. We are also part of the MyIS Stat Tracking system. If you don't have an account, it's free, you should sign up. It allows ppl who play to be entered for prizes..

1. No Cheating
We refuse to track cheaters. If you cheat the game you are cheating us, which will result in a ban. Playing fair is more rewarding anyway.

2. Prize Forfeiting
If a player does not claim his or her prize and does not respond to attempts of contact from MyInternetServices.com staff 2 weeks after the prize drawing, they will forfeit said prize.

Why should I sign-up?
You wouldn't be on this site if you were not a BF2 player. If you spend anytime at all on public servers, why not have a chance to make money or win prizes doing it!

How do I win?
Prizes are given out each month. The monthly drawings are given out randomly. Any player that plays the minimum 25 hours each month will be entered into the drawings. Prizes may have additional requirements for winning check the MyIS Stat System for prize specific info.

What is the MyIS Stat System?
The MyIS Stat System has been written to monitor your actual play time. This data is collected and calculated hourly. The monthly results are used to determine eligibility and overall contest winners. Our system can track any server, any time. The servers do not need to install any software, nor does the player.

Excellent...After a bit of waiting we filled up the server. Some damn good rounds :) Now we just have to get the vent up and running.
 
Vent? Ive got a Vent running, in fact I think their is a spare vent my clan doesnt use that I can use for us.
 
Just played on the server, had a great couple games. I played squad leader and had two great [H] members who played awesome. The three of us led our team each game. Great server to play on!

No doubt dude. I was "Herve_Villechaize". We should do that again sometime.

Winning 6 to 0 after playing for what seemed like an hour and a half is very satisfying.

Got the meritorious ribbon (or something like it) to boot.

Yes sir that was me. Coyote1911. I had never broken 100 points in a round before. I will be on your squad anytime!
 
I have only broken a hundred points once or twice before so it was definitely nice, we played excellent as a squad. Probably one of my most enjoyable BF2 experiences, we will have to play again sometime.

No requirements :) It's not a "clan" it's more along the lines of likeminded [H]ard Gamers who enjoy playing together as squads and work with each other to achieve the goals of the maps :) So, if that sounds like you, you're welcome to hit up the server and have some fun.
 
Is this server public? I check a few times already and each time, there was no one on the server.
 
There aren't any power hungry admins on this server are there?

The reason I ask is because I actually got booted while commanding last night on one of the branzone.com (don't remember what it was called, just that they had an orange logo with a jet in it) servers because the admin wanted a UAV in a spot we controlled "right now" and I already had it deployed in a place that was being attacked and we were defending. Dude started being a total jerk on his microphone to me. I don't get it, we had all of the positions held except the hotel on Karkand, and were up 200+ to the MEC with under 100. Decided to boot me even though they got everything they wanted (aside from the UAV that one time).

Totally pissed me off, and once I could get back on after my one minute ban - the round finished while I was waiting for the one minute - the guy was commanding and doing a horrible job. Needless to say we lost that round horribly.

I'd guess that it was some 13 year old that decided to flaunt his e-penis size by booting someone. I never did get a reaponse from him why I got booted. Last I checked, I was commanding and we were winning by a huge margin. What gives someone the right to boot a commander when the game is already won?

Can you tell I'm a bit pissed?
