Why not just get fraps?

You never have to remember any stupid FPS commands in any game.
 
i'm sure FRAPS takes up about as much system resources as notepad unless you're recording a movie. i wouldn't really worry about it - plus it records pics and movies flawlessly at any res, format, and framerate.
 
I just found out that when playing BF2, the print screen button takes a snapshot of .jpeg and .png putting them in my docs. Fraps has a fee that I think should be free.
 
i was about to make this thread as well, fraps for some god awful reason just wont show me the fps..

this game pisses me off for 1 reason and 1 reason only, the AA is requiered, and fps takes a leep way low, i think im riding on 40's with AA on.
 
AntiAliasing is required? are you saying you CAN'T turn it off like the rest of us?
I can select; none, 2x, or 4x
 
yes, i have but thats not what you typed :)
I run at 1024x768,2xAA, and things OFF or LOW and get more like 60s avg (w/ IRC and TS running)
I'm surpirsed with your processor you dont get better
