Okay, I bought BF2 like a week ago an have been playing fine on my computers admin account. I need the guest account to be able to play it too, but any time that I try to play online from the guest account, a message comes up that says "Your CD Key is Invalid". I have searched the internet and tried a few things, but nothing seems to work. I know BF2 has been out quite a while and I am not the only one with this problem, so anyone else have a solution? Your help is GREATLY appreciated!!!!!

Contact EA?

Their brilliant response was "well, just use the admin account. it has more privileges anyways." Don't bother trying to reason with them or explain, it goes nowhere..."well, as i already said, just play under the admin account"

I just installed BF2 on my laptop last night ($10 from BB) and it won't run the game without right clicking on the icon and choosing to run the program as an administrator.

Sounds like it's a rights problem that can't be fixed unless you're an admin or have power user rights.

Sounds like them for sure.

stupid question but why not just play under admin?

I do play under the admin account, but I am in a dorm and people expect me to share:eek:(I have one of the nicer computers in our dorm). Although they are my friends, I do not completely trust them with admin privileges and would like to be able to run this under the guest account.

Not sure if it will work of if guests have this "privilege" but try re-installing the game under the guest account?

Not sure if a guest account can install programs, but if not, maybe allow it so you can install, then disable it again?

Just a thought.
