well before i moved my swap file it seemed to load up quicker, basiclly once im ingame, it will lag cuz i only have 1 gig of ram but then after 3 to 8 seconds its fine....well i moved the swap file and it seems to have slowed it down and its alot more choppy.....anybody got suggestions?

my setup is as follows, as far as disks are concerned.

2 74gb raptors on a promise sata card

1 120gb wd http://wdc.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/wdc.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=703&p_created=1037222838

i have the swap file on the 120gb now and it seems slower....as im lookin at the specs of the drive, i think im seeing why....2mb buffer is probably it....

so should i move my swap back to the raptor? which one, the raptor with the OS on it or the raptor with the games on it, i seperate windows os / games data storage on the 2 raptors....

think i should ditch the 120?

why not have a swap file on all three hdd's and let windows figure out which one to use at which time?
