BF:BC2 on this rig?

With the rig in my sig, will I be able to get decent gameplay out of BF:BC2? Or should I save my pennies? Display is a 21" crt.
 
Plays fine for me on high @ 1080p and I have the same videocard. that HAO or w/e it's called setting needs to be off though, 4x aa 16x af is pretty smooth, 40+ most of the time.
 
Well, an i7 @ 4.1GHz is a lot faster than the OPs stock Q6600, so results will be a lot different, right?
 
i have the same card as the OP paired with a stock clocked E8500 and im getting 30-50fps at 1920x1200 everything high. should be better since he has a quad. but yes itll be very decent.
 
I have 2 21crt's at 1600x1200 with one 4850 and get 75max/49avg/27min. So you should get better results. BTW Great Game lots of fun..can't wait for it to come out.
 
Thanks for the feedback. 49 fps seems a bit low to me - I'm used to >100 on my first person shooter games. Would a 3.0ghz overclock improve things significantly?
 
Perhaps........but remember you have a stronger card then mine, so you should seen at least 30fps more or better.
 
you're fine. works 30-40fps on my 4850. Might need to change to dx9 instead of dx10.
 
Your rig is fine, my specs give me good 70-90 fps on high settings, except when I'm a gunner on a vehicle, seems to dip 30fps when mortars start hitting the surrounding area
