BF Bad Company 2 Weird CPU issue

I've looked all around the net for this, but I can't seem to find an answer. When I play BFBC2, my CPU usage is assumedly below 80% and I can't hear my CPU fan at all. However, once a multiplayer game ends, while viewing the results screen with the unlock progression and what not, my CPU ramps up to 100% and I have no clue why it does this. Is this normal?
 
Same thing happens with Crusoe Warhead. The game server/menu screens tax the GPU at 100% or close, more than the game itself.
