better video card RAM cooling

i'm currently have BGA ram sinks on my radeon but was wanting to know if there is a better way to cool the RAM. the bga ram sinks only gave me and extra 10mhz before i get artifacts

i've seen water cooled video ram on a Voodoo rig but would it really make a difference?

and if water cooling isnt the way then is there some kind of ram sink/heat pipe solution?
 
Fans. Lots of fans.

I had...a BIG fan(desk fan) blowing onto my old Ti4200 sometimes, just for fun, and I'd get INSANE overclocks. I'd go well past the Ti4600 speeds.

But, more fans get annoying...
 
yeah for a laugh i once put a desk fan blowing in my case but i'm looking for more realistic and quieter solutions...
