Better cooler?

Hello I currently have a opteron 170 clocked at 2800 and am using a Zalman 9700 cooler. Is there any other coolers out there that perform better and can use the stock spring clip type installation? I really dont want to remove the mb. I also would like something that is set up to flow the air front to back and not up and down as alot of coolers i have seen seem to be set up that way. My cooler is working good but with the summer heat and high ambient temps in the room, the cpu gets a little warm and I would like to bring the temp down a bit if possible. MY temps are around 50 to 53 under gaming conditions, and 38 to 42 at idle.
