(prices by newegg, may vary a bit)

FX 6350 (3.9 ghz 6-core Vishera)+decent low end mob=140+70=210. Plus ~400 card (EG, Geforce GTX 770 or 7970 ghz ed)

OR

Haswell 4670+decent H87 board=230+90=320. Plus ~300 card, EG 660Ti or HD 7950.

16 GB DDR3 either way.

I'm not a overclocker btw.

It's basically saving $100 by going with a "good enough" AMD CPU and using that to upgrade the gfx card...

The Haswell build "feels" better to me, but I have a suspicion the FX6350 build would get better FPS in the majority of games...
