Bethesda will not show Starfield or Elder Scrolls VI at E3 this year

As the title says, Bethesda has confirmed that neither of the two titles teased at last year's show will make an appearance this year. During their PAX East panel Todd Howard made the following statement

Before everyone asks, please be patient. It’s going to be a long time. It’s not something we’re going to be talking about at E3, either of those games, this year.

Hype an incoming big Diablo announcement at their big gaming convention full of PC hardware enthusiasts, announce mobile only game, stand there shocked when nobody cared, antagonize the crowd by asking if they have phones.
