beta 9.11 CATS available from AMD

So confused. These are 9.11s? Did the 9.10s already come out? I missed them.
 
what did happen to the 9.10's? and are these the same ones that were released for the hd5XXX series today?
 
8.66 is Cat 9.10 Beta

These OpenCL drivers are Beta 2 OpenCL driver AFAIK, they are for OpenCL development

Does that mean game bugs/performance is the same as in the other released drivers today then - so no point upgrading?

For gaming, I would use the driver posted on the front page, just released, I wouldn't expect any gaming specific fixes in the special OpenCL driver. It is on the developer site, and not the gaming site, for a reason.
 
So far I have only tried them in WoW. Perfoemance looks the same to me.. but that is only in WoW.

I actually got and installed them a bit before the post was up about the 9.10 betas.
 
So there hasn't been an official HD5870/5850 driver yet?

I don't understand why everyone is hoping for new drivers? Are the new cards unusable or something?
 
performance down in Crysis compare to the one release today...

and RE 5 still not fix.....

guess this is just beta driver for openCL..nothing special..
 
Anyone else try the 9.11 beta? I heard the crossfire performance is better.
