I used to use outpost firewall and no antivirus but I've decided to start using a good security suite that includes firewall, antivirus/spyware.

I tried outpost's security suite 2009 but it was too restrictive. Their ad blocker kept blocking legit web hosts and there was no way to change it. Also, it wouldn't allow browsers to display any animated GIFs until they were fully loaded, no streaming allowed.

Right now I'm using BitDefender Total security 2008 but the firewall is crap. Every time I crash or shut down unexpectedly, the application profile list resets itself.

What do you guys use?

A regular antivirus program, NOD32.....and behind a NAT router. Not really into nagging system slowing 3rd party software firewalls.

Eset, makers of NOD32, do make a pretty light all in one package, ESS.
