Best wireless mouse/keyboard

I just purchased a Microsoft Wireless Lazer 5000 mouse and have been truely impressed as to the sensitivity and response capabilities. It is the best mouse I have ever owned and although I play very few games, I push it with my work. Well worth the extra $$. It has a range of maybe 8 feet. Be warned not to elevate it or pile too much stuff in front of the sending unit as performance diminishes quickly. I am not sure wireless has gaming capability beyond this distance.
Well, from personal experience and experiences of others,
I wouldn't recommend a "package" or "set" of keyboard and mouse.
Since they usually both connect wireless to one source, the signal
on many occasions will get interrupted, and you'll have to reconnect
your input devices.
Especially annoying when your about the knife
some one in the back to humiliate them, but you stop dead in your tracks,
the opponent turns around, laughs and knifed you instead
I would advise you to get a cheap~moderately priced wireless keyboard
and a G7 or MX Revolution for the mouse, if you can afford it

Well, you said best, and in my opinion, this is the best wireless keyboard. And as recommended before, a G7 or Revolution would be a good match.
