You've left out the latest two $400 22 inchers, the new Acer is available at some Costco's and the 22" Westinghouse is available at bestbuy (last day for $399 price). I think they are 5ms panels, from the specs probably the same. I just watched "The Island" on my westinghouse and it was wonderful compared to my relativiely slow laptop display.

In pictures at least I like the look of the ACER better (smaller bezel plus I think no speakers) but the Westinghouse has more inputs.

You can try saving up maybe another 200 or so and get a 24"...if you'd like. :D

The westinghouse is only 400 bucks today after tomm. it goes back up to the regular price of 480 if your interested go get it at best buy today cause tomm it goes back up.....alot of places are out of stock if they dont have it ask for a raincheck they'll give you one that locks you inot the 200 until they get one in....ive got the Gateway FPD2185W 21" lcd that i paid 500 for and its pretty damn awesome but for 100 bucks savings same amount of inputs and and inch more i wanna give it a shot. Just to give you info on that 400 buck price it might be worth a shot but get it know or get a raincheck. Hope this helps out a bit. theres a good thread on this same section about the moniter that has some good pictures check it out if your interested.

So its the opinion of this thread that I should check out the Westinghouse? I've never heard of this company.

I've always liked this one. Haven't been in the market for a while. My viewsonic vp2030b is so so. Heavy as shit, but pretty good image and bright.

I've never had good exp. with products from Korea so the LG is prob. a piece of junk if I had to guess. I had a few Acer LCDs, they were ok.

Honestly, most of the best LCD images I have seen are Dell displays. I think they are all samsung. Get the sammy!

Shit man! that sammy is almost $500 bucks!!!!! You wanting HDMI and 1920x1080 at all????? HDCP?

that Viewsonic is supposed to be killer. I'd be my top choice if I were in the market for a monitor.

In order to reach that he'd have to go atleast 23"+ and that's $600+.

The new LG 204WT has a nicer picture than the Samsung (I've got both side by side at the moment), if you don't need the extra connections. The extra inch doesn't really make a difference IMO. I think it's a steal for the $289 you can get it for at CC right now. I like both quite a bit more than the 2025wm.

I would say the Dell 2007wfp. S-IPS screen at a decent price. One of the few available at all. The Nec 20wmgx2 is also S-IPS (but slightly better model).

If I thought that was too expensive, I would get the LG 204wt.

Doesn't the Dell 2007FPW have significant flaws, though, in gaming mode?

You can always get it now and send it back in later to get the further revisions. The 3 year warrenty kicks a lot of ass.

You don't need gaming mode. It is just a different setting for colors, you can set your own and remain in desktop mode. It has by far the best screen in this class. An LG S-IPS.
