Best way to increase speed

I currently have a WD 160gb drive with 8mb of cache. I want to increase my Vista score from 5.3 to arround 5.8 which is where the rest of my system is. Should raid the drive with a second one or buy a raptor (or two)? I need about 120gb of space after installing Vista.

I shall refrain from making any comment on how utterly useless the WinSAT scores are (just like the real SAT).

If the WinSAT score is mostly dependent on the STR and you are trying to increase that score, buying a second drive for RAID-0 is most likely the cheapest option.
If you wanted a better performing system in general, I would consider looking for a more recent generation HDD which will have a higher data density, leading to lower seek distances and also incrementally improved STR.
