I posted this to the Data Storage forum, but I think it applies more to software:
I was using DVD's to backup, but now my stuff is getting too big to fit on DVD's. I had an extra 80GB drive laying around still sealed in it's wrapper, so I bought a USB2 enclosure and dicided to use it for backups.
It was nice and convenient to use Nero to refresh a DVD compilation and add/replace/remove files that had changed. How can I do something like this with the external HD? I thought about using xcopy and writing a batch script to only copy files that have changed, but how do delete the files that have been removed from the source directory?
