What exactly are you guys putting in your water cooling systems?

What mixtures are the best for heat dissipation, with limited biological growth?

I jsut did my first wc setup ever. went with black ice pro, maze4 cpu block, eheim 1250, and a small cylinder res (I should just t-tubed).

I got that to cool off my new 2400 mobile.

My only gripe is make sure you plan itall down. I got it all i my system running but my psu is outside still and the fangrill on psu won't let me slide it in through the rear :.. little things like that...

oh yeah you'll love it
I went with distilled water + a 15th of zerex racing fluid from dangerden

There some addiditives I can buy at my local hardware store? E.g Pepboys, ACE Hardware, TrueValue, AutoZone?

How about spending some time just looking around on watercooling websites. I just built my first system and I never had to ask this type of crap. Try a lttle harder.

I can agree to the above poster, although that IS what this message board is for ;P

Anyways, you'll want to find some water wetter (available at local car stores) and some distilled water (any super market). Mix the recommended amount together and then add it to your loop. You'll want to get a bottle of betadine (available in the aquarium/fish section of your local pet store [or should be, i've never looked]). A drop or 2 of betadine will keep the crawlies out of your loop, and you should be good to go! If you can't find any water wetter, you can use antifreeze or anysuper coolant to restrict corrosion.

You should get distilled or deionized water and add some (not enough to make it pink) Water Wetter. Water Wetter is available at autozone and pepboys.

D/DI water you may be able to get at the grocery store.

The purpose of this thread is to get some feedback on what people are using, I already have water in there, but im planning on draining it and cleaning it all soon, so i'm going to buy some new materials.

Those are the type of answers I wanted, thanks alot guys.

And yes, I bought some Koolance liquid, that's what is in my comp now, but I figured why not do it myself?
