Best waterblock for TEC

I'm not quite ready to go Phase-Change, and I don't want just water, so I'm thinking Water+TEC would be a nice medium. My question is, what would be the best block for one? I know Swiftech makes one, and so does Danger Den, but are there any others? Which would be the best?

Also, what would be a good water block for a 6600GT AGP? Would the Danger Den 6800 block fit it?

Swiftech has a better pelt block simply because of the poor design of the maze 4-1. The cooling area is not as large as the tec, but on the swiftech the pin pattern covers the entire area of the tec. Plus it is aluminum topped, so if something goes wrong it will not melt off and get everything wet.

That's what I thought initially too.

Upon closer inspection, it looks like the plastic fitting system of the swiftech hoses would probably melt if you had a problem.

That is why you put brass ones on.

Also, because there is more metal and water in there, it will take longer to fry in case of a meltdown, so your computer should be able to shut down before bad stuff happens.

use your bios for over-temp shutdown
-> do not use brass in physical contact with aluminum, you WILL have a near term failure due to galvanic corrosion
use plastic (or ss, $$) barbs
