Best video card for $200

I would suggest 6800. Here is one close to $200. You should be able to find one in your price range if you really look around.

6800 @ the Egg

 
x800pro referb's from the egg --ive seen from time to time for less than $200 like $196 or so

they got 12 pipelines and 256ddr3 overclock like a fiend -- the vivos sometimes can soft mod to XT-- but lately they have been lotto cores-- but 12 pipelines @ 500/500 ain't nothing to sneeze at.


monarch had a sale on the x800xl-- its a 16 pipeline card-- don't clock as fast as the PRO--but is about + to the 6800gt give or take-- no modding required-- one thing i like about the XL is it runs the same core as the 850 and don't require the extra power connectors like the GF6800s or the x800pros do--makes for a clean install.

you can pick up a referb 6600gt from newegg for under $150 --most of the time-- the 6600gt is a good card and it can run most games pretty good (DX9)-- however the x800s can run them better and seem to be worth the extra $50 or so extra-- :) :cool:
