For 100.00 bucks flat.Brand or builder does not matter.Any takers on this question?
 
AGP = 9600XT at stock or a 6200 with the pipes unlocked and overclocked. The 6200 would end up being the better performer.

PCI-E = X700 easily the best performer in that price.
 
I'd go with the 6200 and unlocking the pipes.

Though, I thought only the 128bit cards were unlockable.
 
I hadn't noticed that was a 64-bit card. I should have been more carefull, don;t want him buying the wrong thing. Linky to a suitable 6200 ($2 over cap though).
