What is the best VGA cooler i can get for a abit Geforce 4 ti4200, for overclocking??

That is within like 20 bucks. I've been looking at SVC.com, like the Vantec Iceberq4 PRO, but what one would go best in your opinion, thanks

Look there

I just purchased the Vantec Iceberq Copper cooler, so I hope it does a good job cooling.

I know it's going to be a lot cooler than the one I'm using :D

Not sure, but I don't think those are recommended for newer cards. ATI's run hot too.... Just words of precaution.

Im asuming he was talking to the guy who posted the 2nd post... who has the 9800 Pro

can i run a silencer and a Thermaltake G4-VGA together, and they will both work with the 4200?

VGA Silencer all the way...SVC has them for cheap. Allows me to OC my 9800 Pro to XT speeds no problem.

You cannot mount a current VGA Silencer onto a Ti4200. My friend has the Zalman Heatpipe VGA cooler (ZM80C-HP) on his Ti4200, with superb results.

what is laping?

edit: and with the thermaltake, wat core/mem mhz did u clock it to?

Lapping is basiclly sanding down the base with very high (1000+) grit sandpaper till it has a mirror finish. A perfectly flat surface attracts heat better than a gritty one, and the base of the Thermaltake looked like the martian landscape. ;) I cannot remember the overclocks, I sold the card off over a year ago, but I know the core overclock was great.
