Idk if its possible but if you should get either a 3570K or a 4670K, coupled with a decent MB and a R270X that might be an improvement. So if I may ask (and I apologize if you have already stated this) but whats the machines primary software tasks, specifically are they multi-threaded or single? If your doing multi-threaded I would stick with the AMD, but if your doing alot of single-threaded or a combo then I`d stick with a decent K series Intel.
