best TV for ~$350

I know this space is generally used for computer displays and whatnot but I figured you guys would know more than I on this subject.

I'm probably going to be getting a new TV for Christmas and was wondering what the best choice would be for a budget of about $350? I've looked at the prices of TVs at BB and CC and it seems i could get a nice 27 or 32 inch TV for the amount had. Just wondering on specific brands/models that would get me the most for the dollar and which brands/models I should avoid. Thanks in advance for any help given.
